When you hear or see the word "etiquette" do you immediately associate the word with stuffy, snobbish behavior?  The mission of Polished Image is to create a new understanding of the word "etiquette" which will initiate a new mind set that will heighten confidence and self esteem. Our world deals with daily interactions whether it's face to face or technical.  Etiquette is a powerful tool that emanates respect, consideration, and confidence in children and adults.


Courses and Programs

All of the programs and courses offered by Polished Image are customized to meet the needs of the clients.  The instructions are informative, interactive, and interesting.  The goal is to create a confident self image that will make you shine.

 MAGNIFICENT MANNERS(1st-5th graders)

Magnificent Manners will teach and encourage respect, tolerance,and grace. No more uncomfortable dining or social experiences after this program! Your child will learn proper manners that will boost self confidence and make your child
shine. This interactive program is a fun way to learn a skill that children
will be proud to show off. Snacks will be provided along with
a book on manners.   

Magnificent Manners Workshop usally offered on a Saturday morning 9-12

This workshop is offered once a year at Cape Elizabeth Community Services

At the end of this session, you will walk away with strategies that will empower you!       




A two to three hour program that includes the following:

  • Defining etiquette
  • Greeting and Introductions
  • Telephone/ Cell Phone
  • Netiquette (online manners)
  • Duties of a host/guest
  • Proper table setting/dining
  • Communications (verbal and written)

A two to four hour program that includes the following:

  • Knowledge of place setting
  • Ease of proper introductions
  • Proper handshake
  • Art of conversation
  • Do's and Don'ts of dining
  • Navigating through a meal
  • Styles of eating
  • How to eat difficult foods
  • Duties of host/guest
  • Cell phone etiquette
  • Communications (written, verbal and electronic)
